In trials of fire, our souls refined, As God's own Temple, we're designed, Through furnace flames, our hearts are tried, In Christ's sufferings, we're sanctified.
Beloved, fear not when trials draw near, For in these fires, our faith grows clear, As gold and silver, in furnace's heat, We're molded, shaped, a work complete.
For in this journey, we're not alone, In Christ's suffering, we are known, Rejoice, my brethren, with hearts elate, In trials faced, embrace your fate.
In Romans 5, verse 3, we find, Trials bring patience, strength entwined, And in James 1, verse 12, we see, Blessed is the one, who endures with glee.
For through the flames, a light will shine, His glory revealed, a joy divine, In 2 Corinthians 4, verse 17, Our light afflictions, a weighty dream.
So let us hold fast to our faith, For God's Temple we are, in this wraith, Refined in trials, our hearts aflame, In Christ's suffering, we'll praise His name.
Let's stand with joy, exceeding bright, For in our trials, He's our might, Beloved, be strong, steadfast and true, God's Temple, refined, He's molding you.
